Why "Fuzzy Logic"?
Traditional robotics is based on black-and-white, zero-or-one logic. But humans donât think and communicate in black-and-whiteâwe live in a world of colors. Trying to use human language and human concepts to talk to a traditional robot leads to misunderstandings, and robots that do what we asked⊠but definitely not what we wanted.
Most robot systems try to make humans change their communication to match
the robotâs black-and-white style, i.e. programming languages. Our software changes the way the robot communicates so it can understand humansâ âfuzzyâ and nuanced logic.
